## 11.05.2020 - The agri-food market opens!

## 04/27/2020 - New time slots for people over 65
President Klaus Iohannis announced today that a new military ordinance will be issued to change the time periods in which people over 65 can leave the house.
"People over 65, given that the weather is warming up, will have two daily slots available: in the morning from 7:00 to 11:00 and in the evening from 19:00 to 22:00," said Klaus Iohannis.

## 04/22/2020 - The Salonte Days festival has been canceled!
Many have wondered if the city will organize the festival that attracts thousands of people, Salonte Days, again this year.
We learned that the competent authorities have decided, due to the health risk and the unsatisfactory economic situation, that the Salonta Days festival will NOT be organized this year.
At the same time, it was proposed to postpone the film festival, held for the first time last year, in addition to the items on the agenda regarding the reduction of several expenses. The City Council will make decisions on these questions tomorrow, through an online meeting.
According to the proposal of the Salonta City Hall, the remaining amounts, due to the cancellation of events, the city will invest in protecting the health of citizens and in helping to get out of the crisis and economic chaos.

## 22.04.2020 - Gloves and masks for salons!
We received another package of hundreds of pairs of gloves this morning, and we also have reserves of masks. We want to offer them to as many people as possible. We are waiting for those who wish, they can pick them up at the reception of the City Hall on weekdays between 8 am and 4 pm.

## 21.04.2020 - Salonta City Hall continues its activity
Salonta City Hall, with the necessary prevention measures, continues its activity. Citizens can solve their problems online, by phone, by calling one of the following phone numbers: 0755328388, 0359409730, 0359409731 or by private message on our Facebook page. Applications and forms can be downloaded from the Salonta City Hall website. Problems related to the personal records office can be solved in person. (Young people who have turned 14 can apply for an identity card, as well as people whose ID card has been damaged or lost.) Expired identity cards will remain valid until the end of the state of emergency). The cashier's office and the registry are also open. In addition, those interested can still benefit from sanitary masks, which can be picked up at the reception of the City Hall. We also distribute self-declarations here, free of charge.

## 18.04.2020 - Help for family doctors and nursing homes!
The significant aid package from the Hungarian Government arrived in our city a few days ago. Part of the donation was represented by protective suits (overalls) that healthcare personnel can use during their professional activity. After asking the hospital and finding out that they are currently adequately provided with protective materials, we divided the suits between family doctors and nursing homes. The rest of the donation, masks and gloves, are divided among citizens.

## 16.04.2020 - We still have masks!
We continue to distribute protective sanitary masks. As I said before, thanks to the support of the Hungarian Government and generous citizens, we can provide thousands of sanitary masks to people. Those who wish to do so are asked to come to the reception of the city hall, from where they can pick up the masks, a maximum of two per family. People over the age of 65 and those who have difficulty moving around are asked to send us their requirements via private message.

## 14.04.2020 - Disinfection
This week, the stairs of the apartment buildings will be disinfected again. The teams of the Salonta City Hall will work in the train station area on Thursday and on Wednesday they will visit all the other apartment buildings in the city.

## 10.04.2020 - We managed to purchase more masks!
Sanitary protective equipment is very difficult to find, but we are trying to share the ones received or purchased so far among you, in order to protect you. This time we managed to obtain 500 sanitary masks from the General Directorate of Social Assistance and Child Protection. We are not keeping these for ourselves either. People who have not yet received them can request them here, via private message. We can offer you a maximum of two masks / family to reach as many as possible. Masks can be picked up on weekdays between 8 am and 4 pm at the reception of the city hall.

## 10.04.2020 - Checks in the center
On the occasion of the Catholic holiday of Good Friday, we asked the police to carefully monitor compliance with the Military Ordinance. In the central area, they check both from cars and on foot. While shopping, at pharmacies or when using ATMs, please keep a distance of 1.5 m. We emphasized in our request that some groups, who live in colonies, in the villages around our locality, be kept at home. Please, if you see people walking on the street without any purpose, do not hesitate to draw the attention of the police to them. Police contact number: 0758 225 678. Please, Salonta, respect the rules. We are going through a very difficult time! It is very important to take care of each other and if you have the opportunity, stay home.

## 09.04.2020 - 100 protective masks for the Hospital!
In recent weeks, the people of Salonta have shown very good collaboration. Our city is a place of volunteerism, dedication and unconditional help! In the midst of all the troubles, these give us hope. In the past few days, to the great joy of the Salonta Territorial Hospital, the Gravostile Industry company donated 100 protective face masks. Such instruments are very difficult to find in the trade, but at the same time they provide a lot of help in the medical field. Both the city hall and the hospital management thank the company for their support!

## 08.04.2020 - Electronic medical prescription
During the state of emergency, doctors can issue patients' medical prescriptions by electronic means (e-mail, WhatsApp, Facebook, etc.).
After receiving the prescription, the patient has 2 options:
1. list the prescription with which they present themselves to the pharmacy
2. send the prescription received from the doctor to the pharmacy's email address, and the pharmacy will list the prescription.
In addition to all this, Salonta City Hall is still by your side: our nurses, if requested, help you buy medicines.

## 07.04.2020 - We continue to protect ourselves!
Although there are not many stocks and it is difficult to obtain, the first hand disinfection devices have been installed in the stairwells of the blocks. We continue to purchase the devices so that they reach every block. We thank Tasnadi Zsolt and his team for coming to our aid for free and installing the dispensers that we have already handed over to the residents' associations.

## 06.04.2020 - Today in the morning at 7!
Many, even in these difficult days, are working on the front line. They are doing everything possible to prevent the epidemic and make the state of emergency bearable in our city. Respect and gratitude to them and their families! Sandor Istvan Balogh, with the photo taken this morning at 7 am, recorded two teams from the Salonta ambulance service, during the shift. Not all of them appear in the photo, but we know that the ambulance service is responsible for approximately 60 thousand people, in Salonta and the surrounding area. Their team is one of the most exposed to danger in this fight. We thank them for their sacrifices. We are proud of them!

## 06.04.2020 - We help citizens!
People's financial reserves are running out! The country's leadership urgently needs to develop an economic and social plan. They must ensure decent living conditions! With the imposed, inadequate legislation from Bucharest and the incomplete financial structure, local administrations cannot satisfactorily solve the social and economic problems that are developing due to the epidemic. But despite this, Salonta stands with the citizens!
Mayor László Török and Secretary General Patricia Ivanciuc have decided to set up an emergency phone number for people facing social problems! Thus, specialists will be able to provide useful information and tell what documentation is required to obtain support. The phone number is: 0770659927. This device also has a WhatsApp application. ## 03.04.2020 - Disinfectant dispensers in apartment buildings
Kis Annamária, head of the city's economic service, is working hard so that we can purchase everything we need during this period. In the case of apartment buildings, in addition to disinfecting them, according to the ordinance, we are also required to install dispensers in each apartment building. At the same time, the whole country lacks these devices, but we managed to purchase the first part of them. In addition to the fact that the city hall has a lot to do, thanks to the persistent team, the installation of the first disinfectant solution dispensers will begin in the coming days. In the meantime, we can continue with disinfection on the streets, in public spaces and around private homes.

## 02.04.2020 - ATTENTION! Disinfection of the train station area
Tomorrow, Friday, April 3, we will disinfect the stairs of the blocks of flats in the train station area. At the city level, we count almost 200 blocks that are and will be disinfected. The work began on Wednesday, April 1. In the past two days, city hall employees have disinfected the blocks of flats in the center, in Democrației Square, Târgului Square (near the mill), the block of social housing and the "energia" blocks.

## 02.04.2020 - Help in disinfection
We are pleased to meet more and more good, helpful people. The entrepreneur Marius Cuibus rushed to our aid, and with the deputy mayor, János Horváth, they discussed in front of the city map how he and his team could help disinfect the blocks. We thank him and his team for their work and unconditional help, they are responsible for disinfecting the blocks in the train station area. We also thank Mr. Kajtor Sándor and his nephew Kajtor Krisztián for their help. They offered to disinfect public spaces in the city. The other days we received masks, we thank Mrs. Szabó Lucia, Tóth Ibolya and Varga Rákhel. The necessary materials for protection have already been distributed among those who wish.

## 01.04.2020 - Disinfection!
Salonta City Hall started disinfection in the blocks in the center today. The team enters all the blocks, disinfects the steps, hallways and entrance doors with a chlorine-based disinfectant solution. It is an enormous amount of work to disinfect the almost 200 blocks, but in addition to disinfecting the streets, the city hall also assumes this task to maintain and protect the health of citizens.

## 01.04.2020 - Civil status: measures taken during the state of emergency
In the context of the establishment of the state of emergency on the territory of Romania, given the publication in the Official Gazette of Romania, Part I, no. 212/16 March 2020 of Decree no. 195/2020.
Given the evolution of infections with the new CORONAVIRUS SARS COV 2 on the territory of Romania, as well as the measures ordered at national level to prevent infection, in order to limit direct contact, the following will be taken into account when solemnizing the marriage:
Marriage declarations accompanied by the documents provided by law will be sent exclusively online to the email address of the local public community service for recording persons, civil status, competent to solemnize the marriage only following the online/telephone scheduling of the date and time of the marriage.

## 31.03.2020 - Important: Wednesday at the 7-story building!
Tomorrow, Wednesday morning, according to the Military Ordinance, the disinfection of the stairs in the buildings will begin. At the city level, the number of blocks for which Salonta City Hall is responsible is close to 200. In addition to the current occupations, this is an extra effort for the city hall employees, but we are doing everything possible for the health of citizens. On Wednesday, April 1st, we are disinfecting the hallways of the buildings in the courtyard of the 7-story building; so the blocks located on the north side of the main street. ## 31.03.2020 - Regular meeting - Unusual conditions!
Due to the epidemic, the local council held its meeting today in the large hall of the House of Culture. Many important decisions were listed among the items on the agenda. Among others, they modified the rules of operation of the Local Council, according to which from now on the meetings can also be held online or by telephone conference. They also made decisions on many other issues: they allocated money for the treatment and elimination of problems caused by the coronavirus.

## 31.03.2020 - Buying medicines
People suffering from chronic diseases must buy their medicines every month, but they are the ones who should strictly adhere to home isolation and should not leave their homes at all. Nurse Osvath Andrea, a specialist in the field, will help them so that they do not have to go to medical offices or pharmacies.
**Steps to buying medicines:**
1. Request an appointment from your family doctor.
2. Two days before the scheduled date, call the city hall at one of the following: 0755328388, 0359409730, 0359409731, requesting help buying medicines.
3. Our colleague, Osváth Andrea, a nurse, will visit you, take your health card and discuss your medications with you.
4. On the date set by the appointment, the nurse will go to the doctor's office, take your prescription, buy the medications from the pharmacy and deliver them to your home.
The help is free, you only have to pay the cost of the medications, based on the tax receipt.

## 30.03.2020 - New mission: disinfecting 200 apartment buildings!
2 weeks ago, we asked the residents' association leaders to disinfect the apartment building stairs. In addition, military ordinance number 4 provides for the transfer of this task to the Salonta City Hall. It will be a very big job, because even according to approximate calculations, the City Hall specialists have to disinfect at least 200 stairs.

## 27.03.2020 - The city hall team is working!
Today is the second day since the employees of the Salonta City Hall and the team of volunteers set off on the road to visit all the elderly people in the city. The goal is to contact all the people who are alone, cannot count on the help of relatives or neighbors during the emergency situation. During these two days, they reached more than 1000 homes. We thank them for their unconditional work! At the same time, we note with great joy that more and more volunteers are offering us services and help, we thank them too!

## 27.03.2020 - We help you leave the house!
We all KNOW that, in order to leave the house, during the emergency situation, we must always have a declaration on our own responsibility with us. BUT there are people who are unable to print the form or do not have a smartphone or tablet. SALONTA TOWN HALL comes to your aid again! Today, starting at 10 am, we are distributing 30 printed forms in all larger grocery stores, and with this we are helping the citizens of Salonta. These can be picked up at the cash registers. Let's get through this situation well!

## 26.03.2020 - The team is on its way!
We started on March 17! Now the aid system, created at the beginning of last week, is being raised to a new level. In these minutes, volunteers and city hall employees are visiting 3800 elderly people, who have turned 65, to see who needs help. We thank them for their unconditional work! Let's be united!

## 26.03.2020 - The border crossing near Salonta has opened!
We inform citizens of the opening of the border crossing near Salonta strictly for commuters. People who live within a 30 km radius of the border and work within a 30 km radius on the other side of the border, starting today can also cross at the Salonta - Michherechi customs. ## 03/25/2020 - We are visiting 3,800 elderly people!
A huge amount of work! On Thursday morning, 16 people will set off to provide assistance to the elderly. We will visit 3,800 elderly people and those children who are raised by their grandparents. Please share this post so that as many people as possible will know about the arrival of the aid group.
**ATTENTION!** Merchants (owners of grocery stores / restaurants) who have the possibility of home delivery are asked to contact us in a private message during the day today. All elderly people will receive a list of emergency phone numbers and merchant contacts. We thank our colleagues for standing by us and helping us during this difficult period.

## 03/24/2020 - Military Ordinance no. 3
MAI issued Military Ordinance No. 3 on measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19
**Article 1.** The movement of all persons is prohibited, with the following exceptions: travel for professional purposes, provision of goods for the basic needs of people and domestic animals, medical care that cannot be postponed, childcare, assistance to the elderly, short trips for physical activity, but all team activities, such as football, blood donation, are excluded.
**Article 2.** The movement of persons over 65 years of age is allowed between 11:00 and 13:00, for the above purposes.
**Article 3.** The movement of persons provided for in Article 2 is also allowed outside the time interval 11:00 – 13:00 if it is done for professional purposes or agricultural activities.
**Article 4.** These persons must submit a declaration on their own responsibility.
**Article 7.** Public institutions and economic operators must mark the public access area with visible signs that ensure a distance of at least 1.5 m.
**Article 12.** Documents that expire during the state of emergency can be exchanged within 90 days of the end of the state of emergency.
This measure applies starting Wednesday, March 25.

## 24.03.2020 - We believe in the future!
We believe that we will get through these sad and difficult weeks, that's why we work every day. During these hours, our colleagues, in the bad weather, are planting roses in the Nuca de aur park. The iron support is the one reused from the central park. According to our plans, the Nuca de aur playground will be inaugurated before the Easter holidays, to the joy of the residents of the area. Faith in Salonta and faith in the future give us a lot of strength!

## 24.03.2020 - ATTENTION!!! Total quarantine!
Starting Wednesday, total quarantine in Romania!
**IMPORTANT!** People over 65 are prohibited from going out!
The ordinance that came into force on Monday imposed regulations related to mandatory quarantine at night, and their recommendation during the day. The President of Romania, this afternoon declared: starting tomorrow, quarantine is mandatory throughout the day!
**During the 24 hours of the day, one can only leave one's home in the following cases:**
- in professional interest (if one cannot work from home)
- buying the necessary things, medical emergencies, helping children, the elderly or the sick, deaths in the family, short walks near the home.
Outside the home, citizens can only move around respecting the regulations related to covid-19, gathering in groups of any kind is prohibited. A group is understood as the gathering of more than 3 people in the same place, who do not belong to the same home.

## 24.03.2020 - Regulations at the personal registration office!
According to the law in force, during the state of emergency, the validity period of all personal documents will be automatically extended (they remain valid until the end of the state of emergency), thus, the personal registration office (bulletins) at the Salonta Municipality introduces new regulations.
**Identity cards (bulletins) are issued only to people who:**
1. will turn 14 years old in the next period,
2. have lost their identity card and need to replace it.

## 23.03.2020 - Wonderful Salontans!
Today we had a pleasant surprise! We were visited by the master tailor Hízó Sándor who, with his colleague and friend Gergely István, sacrificed their whole day on Saturday to make us masks from their own material, free of charge, without any additional cost. Immediately after we took over the 50 masks, another Salonta helper, Tóth Ibolya, appeared, who brought us another set of masks. Many thanks and respect for their unconditional work. Their deeds can give us strength: solidarity still lives in people! The masks will be sterilized and distributed among the people who need them and who request them by private message!

## 20.03.2020 - Emergency call: 0758225678
Mayor László Török sent a message to Chief of Police Călin Moș on Wednesday: the presence in the city of villagers who recently returned from abroad where they lived by begging is intolerable. He asked for the problem to be addressed as quickly as possible, which the Chief of Police did.
The citizens of Salonta may notice people who, after arriving home from abroad, did not enter home isolation or people who live in the same house with them and still go to work or in public. The Local Police is doubling, starting Monday, the number of teams that supervise the city center.
**If anyone knows of any case that does not comply with the legal provisions of the emergency situation, they are asked to call the police at the number: 0758-225-678.**
