**Salonta, June 2, 2020** – *Salonta City Hall and the RoRec Association, together with the local partner operator, are organizing a special action to collect electronic waste in June. This is part of a large campaign organized on the occasion of Environment Day in over 20 counties in the country.* In Salonta, the collection program is carried out between **June 1-15** through the **Electrical Waste Collection and Pickup Service** from homes and company or institution headquarters. Do you want to participate and get rid of electronic waste? Call 0800.444.800 or go to www.colecteaza.ro and find out how you can responsibly and correctly dispose of this waste and what prizes are up for grabs! With a simple call to **TelVerde 0800.444.800** (free from any mobile or landline network) or by filling out the form on colecteaza.ro you can clean up your homes and offices, freeing them from unnecessary electrical and electronic devices. And you can win prizes from the program's partners! Citizens who have to hand in their electronic waste are invited to call from Monday to Friday – between 9:00 and 17:00 – at the toll-free number 0800.444.800 or place a collection order on the online order form colecteaza.ro Also **on Saturday, June 6, between 10:00 and 18:00**, old or broken electronic waste can be handed in directly at **one of the three collection points**: - Teodor Neș National College (Str. Republicii) - parking lot - Curcubeu Kindergarten (Str. Batthyanyi Lajos) - Salonta Agro-Food Market (Pța. Haiducilor) Companies and institutions that wish to dispose of electrical and electronic equipment in accordance with the legislation in force regarding waste management can place an order both through TelVerde and online, on colecteaza.ro. For institutions and companies, the necessary documentation for tax and legal reporting is provided. The teams of local partner operators will call you within a maximum of three business days from placing the order, to establish the day and time of waste collection. **Important!** *The crew members who collect waste from homes or offices operate in accordance with anti-COVID-19 measures: they maintain the minimum mandatory distance from depositors, are equipped with protective masks and gloves, and their cars are equipped with disinfectant gels and wipes that they use before and after each order pick-up. And citizens who will hand over their waste are asked to wear a mask when handing over their waste and filling out the campaign participation forms.* Participate in Environment Day, celebrate without electrical waste and you can also win a special prize!
